Control and diagnostics devices on microcontrollers

Examples of the projects:

Vehicle equipment control system with support for LIN and CAN interfaces and ability to communicate with a remote server to transfer the required data.

The control system is a modular and may consist of one or plenty of interchangeable circuit boards. Setting and diagnostics made by specialized software via USB interface.

An example of the functional one of the assemblies control system:

  • Multimedia control system (Alpine, TV, Intercom, Apple TV);

  • Control electric seat;

  • Individual and general lighting;

  • Management of the bar, desk, windows, shutters, partition;

  • Management of the climatic equipment;

  • Gathering information from the factory control units of the car and sending commands by CAN-interface;

  • Gathering information from the remote control and send commands by LIN-interface;

  • Receiving location data using GPS / GLONASS;

  • Transmission of the diagnostic information to the server using GPRS.


DC motor control system with support of LIN and CAN interfaces for vehicle applying (curtains, tables, bars, walls, windows, doors, etc.).

Functions:

  • Processing of the commands from the onboard CAN automobile or factory console via LIN interface;

  • Management of four DC motors with a supply voltage up to 40V and current consumption up to 30A;

  • Changing the electric motor speed (main start and braking);

  • The detection of the extreme positions by monitoring of the current;

  • Monitoring the accidents (overvoltage and power failures, broken «land» and the power bus, overheating);

Note: This system allows you to connect the work of DC motor with any event occurring in the car, whether it is the inclusion of the light, press any button to start the engine, the achievement of certain engine RPM or speed, opening doors, etc.

  • Processing of the signals from the buttons;

  • Control of the DC motor with the voltage up to 40V and current consumption up to 30A;

  • Changing the motor speed (soft start and braking);

  • The detection of the extreme positions by monitoring of the current;

  • Monitoring the accidents (overvoltage and power failures, broken «land» and the power bus, overheating);


The control unit of the climatic ventilation equipment, cooling and heating of the car cabin.

Functions:

  • Processing of the signals from the buttons installed in the driver’s cabin;

  • Indication of the ventilation, heating and cooling modes;

  • Management of the compressor and fans;

  • Management of the preheater WEBASTO and use it as an additional cabin heater;

  • Development of the electronic control devices on microcontrollers to order.


Set system parameters registration board is based on LPC2364 microcontroller.

Functions:

  • Getting sending settings control and diagnostic parameters using the CAN-interface;

  • Saving parameters in the fm25cl64 (FRAM) and recording of diagnostic information in in the 45db321d (FLASH);

  • Transfer the required data to a PC via USB.


Climate control system is based on the power board, the indication and control board with LPC2364 microcontrollers.

Functions:

  • The functions of phase monitor with the ability to correction of the sequence;

  • The implementation of the operator menu on UMOH-8462N-0 (OLED);

  • Receiving and processing of data from temperature and pressure sensors;

  • Processing of the signal from digital inputs;

  • Switching power circuits;

  • Stepper motor control KVS 42-54;

  • Implementation of algorithms in automatic, manual or test mode;

  • Saving parameters fm25cl64 (FRAM) and recording of diagnostic information in at45db321d (FLASH);

  • Transfer necessary data on a personal computer and support management capabilities via USB.
